Do I need D&D experience to play a game with Royal Player's Guild?
Absolutely not! We welcome players of all backgrounds. Your DM has been trained to guide each player through the campaign - whether it is your first time playing or your 100th time!
Are your tabletop games kid-friendly?
While we love to see D&D fans of all ages, we do have an age restriction of 16+ for our tabletop games. This is simply what we recommend due to the nature of the game. However, Storymode: An Interactive Quest of Castleton is 100% kid-friendly and recommended for adventurers of all ages! If you are younger than 16 and intersted in playing a tabletop game, reach out to royalplayersguild@gmail.com and we will be happy to get you in a game once we have parental permission!
How long does each campaign last?
We aim to make each one-shot last roughly 1.5-2 hrs. This will vary by group, but we recommend allowing at least 1.5 hrs for your session!
What time should I arrive for my tabletop game?
We recommend arriving roughly 15 minutes early for your game. For instance, if you signed up for a game that begins at 11:00 am, you would want to arrive no later than 10:45 am to ensure that you are ready to go on time!
Where do I go when I arrive for my tabletop game?
If you signed up for either Heist in the Harbor of Fort Bloodwater, you will make your way to the pirate ship called the Rusty Cutlass in Castleton Harbor.
If you signed up for The Whispers Below, you will make your way to the Wobblin' Goblin pub near the front gate of the Castle.
If I have purchased a ticket to a tabletop game, do I need a general admission ticket for the Renaissance Festival?
Yes, you will need to purchase a general admission ticket for the Renaissance Festival. Our tabletop games take place within the Castle of Muskogee and a general admission ticket will be required for entry.
Where do I go when I am ready to begin Storymode: An Interactive Quest of Castleton?
